Great margaritas! Really big and busy restaurant. Service is a bit basic but very quick. Free chips and salsa even if you’re just getting a drink. Fajitas are a favourite menu item.

Been here a couple times now and always very good/hot food with awesome wait staff, and the chips and salsa are incredibleeeeee. Love them and you can heat them up the next day and they are so crispy good. Seafood soup was great, the classic enchilada/burrito type dishes are usually great too. The frozen margaritas are so good and pretty strong, they’ll mix flavors for you and strawberry/mango is a really good combo (recommended by cool waitress). All around a fun experience, lots of table room inside and out with interesting art and decorations everywhere.

This is a holiday tradition for us. So good. The food is very great with grilled meat and fresh vegetables. Serving sizes good but dishes are not overloaded with beans and rice. Our server Juan was exceptional ensuring we had everything we needed. He even packed us a complete to go basket with everything we needed for a snack in our hotel room later. I highly recommend Cactus Cantina.

Airbnb host recommended this place. The salsa was better than most and all three of us enjoyed the food. Would come back again. Sound level inside was getting higher at 2:02 Sunday afternoon as more people were arriving. Could still have a conversation, but if you use hearing aids outside may work better. Lots of outdoor seating in the shade.

I visited Cactus Cantina recently, and overall it was a mixed experience. I ordered the crunchy tacos, which were good, but the beans and rice were pretty basic and didn’t have much flavor. I also ordered two scoops of guacamole it was really tasty and fresh, but for the price, it didn’t feel like it was quite worth it. One of my friends got the crab quesadilla and absolutely loved it, while my other friend ordered the enchiladas and said they were some of the best she’s ever had so the food seems to depend on what you order. The chips were nice and crisp, but the salsa tasted a bit off almost like it was made with green tomatoes or something slightly under ripe. It wasn’t my favorite. The margaritas were good (I had a frozen one, and my friend tried a mixed version), but unfortunately, mine gave me a bad headache afterward something that doesn’t usually happen to me. Service was very friendly, and the staff was attentive throughout our meal. However, the restaurant isn’t very ADA friendly. To get to the bathrooms, you have to go down two flights of stairs, which could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues unless there’s an accessible restroom somewhere I didn’t see. Overall, it’s a lively spot with great service, but the food was hit or miss and fairly basic in flavor. ⭐ My Overall Rating: 3.5/5 Friendly service and fun atmosphere, but uneven flavors, pricey portions, and limited accessibility.
